ball joints? and can i reuse them?

they are new...i just need to switch the knuckle to another axle..

Go rent a press from your local auto parts store.

I have never been able to get one out and have it look good enough once its out to want to reuse it.

May aswell replace them while you are down there. They are a major PITA to do so you may aswell get it over with.

I wouldn't reuse them unless they were for a trail fix as a temporary thing. They can take some damage removing them.

no, you cant reuse them once you press them out. rock auto has cheap ones but moog problem solvers are pretty good. i blew both (upper and lower) new OEM spicer ball joints in 4 months on one side on my old 30.

what do the balljoints have to do with swapping the knuckle(s) to another axle housing??

:agree: the ball joints are part of the axle assemply...the knuckle just receives the ball joint studs.
