It does need body work and the interior is trashed an i will post pics of it tomorrow but after i change all the fluids and stuff it will run like a champ she slips a little bit due to old fluid but i cant wait until she is done
-sold a 88 with 360k all original except rear axle to my mail lady.
-Dad's "business" Jeep is 355K all original just took it to South Cali
-brother in law daily driver is at 420k. Had to rebuild T-case for him at 350k.
-there is a few more in the family over 300k
The funny one is my late grandmas 89. Just 58k on it and had to put a motor in it. Go figure.
You got a lot of posts Jeep Kid Its hard to keep up.. :thumbsup: Wheres the pictures? My jeeps got 215000. I would not put synthetic in it because of the milage.I use regular cheepest i can find 10-40 or 20-50 as long as you do regular change it will be ok .
Hello! I am trying to decide if I should buy this 1988 Jeep Cherokee. $2800. I had it looked at, he said it needs brakes, oil change, transmission flush, possible lifter. Otherwise looks good, no rust, etc.

Have a 1987 XJ 4.0 and wanting to install this gauge but not sure if I’m supposed to install it in the thermostat housing or the back of the head. Also how should I wire the light up that came with it? Thanks in advance !

I have a 93 xj. While driving at @ 55 to 65 my xj will suddenly jerk. It seems as though the transmission slips. This usually starts after driving for 15-20 miles or after the vehicle has gotten good and warmed up. The tranny shifts good and smooth all the time. This only happens when cruising...
Did the the closed to open cooling system swap. In the process I eliminated the regulator valve thing adjacent the heater core. But now she doesn't want to warm up. Any advice guys? Thanks all in advance!!
