Just as a test I removed my vacuum canister and plugged it with a bolt, and so far I have not noticed a change in anything.

I don't have Cruise Control or a vacuum disconnect and my heater works fine. My heater will still switch from hot to cold and my air will change to my vents, defrost and floor.

Untill I notice that something does not work right I am going to leave it out.:dontknow:

I did it because I want to make some more room under my hood. Next to go is the ABS pump.

most jeepers should move their vac-can up into the engine compartment, they usually are alot safer up there, especially once you start cutting out chunks of fenders and inner fender-wells for bigger tires, or if you just like to bump into stuff with your bumper, if i remember correctly, doesnt that little bottle keep you in 4wd?? plus if your like me, you can use those same spots behind the bumper as a perfect "hidden" (depending on how cut up your front is) mounting spot for a couple of PA horns :D
