Don't you guys call this "polishing a turd"?Lets see some IFS libbys for some future inspiration, after all our vehicles arent getting any younger.

Now I would be a proud owner of that vehicle.
On the plus side, I think I found the front bumper I want for my XJ. I'll have to design it, but this is the style I was looking for. Thanks!I wouldnt mind a straight axle libby at all, but I would never run a IFS one.
You are going for a custom build? On the plus side, I think I found the front bumper I want for my XJ. I'll have to design it, but this is the style I was looking for. Thanks!
Exactly, boy I wish it has a solid axle from the factory.I could go for a Libby if it had a solid axle. But an IFS front end just SUX in the dirt.
Yes. Well I'm going to design it, shoot it over to Mark at DetoursUSA. Same company that built my rear bumper. I'm sure he'd build it for me, I just have no idea how much. That will be the real limiting factor on having the custom done. You are going for a custom build?

Wonder how much fab work needs to be done to convert one??Exactly, boy I wish it has a solid axle from the factory.
Not a whole lot.Wonder how much fab work needs to be done to convert one??
I have seen IFS Chevys converted but they have a very solid frame and used D60s to do the conversion. What do you know about the unibody under a Libby?
I would have to agree, I wish the 4.0 was still around.the el crapo minivan v6 sad thing is no jeep is availble with the 4.0 anymore so get used to it. biggest mistake Chrylser ever made was killing the 4.0 and the XJ Cherokee:cheers:
