hello all. I am in search of the two trim pieces that go in the back of the cabin. The top on is the long piece that spans from side to side and holds the head liner and the other is on the bottom that spans from side to side where the latch is. Anyone have that they want to part with or can anyone point me to where I can find them?

Looks like the upper can still be had new.
Pretty sure the part number is 5ER43LAZAD.

Thing is those hardly ever take a beating. And even if the clips behind it are busted it still screws in.
I sometimes wonder why the clips are even there. That I would think would be an easy boneyard find.

Lower on the other hand, part number 5EG09LAZ I believe, can not be find new. At least not by me.
And that takes a beating so finding a good usable piece in the boneyard might take a little doing.

No problem.
I did get to the one boneyard and they only had the one XJ with a Camel interior.
I am trying to find that bottom sill plate for this guy in Norway in the Camel.
It was totally trashed in the Jeep though.
Mine was trashed in my XJ, Camel also, but at the time new stock was still available so I bought one.
If and when I get to the other boneyard I will keep an eye out for the lower in Agate.
Let me know if you score one in the meantime.
Thinking you are good on the fender flare?

I have a fender flare. Bought aftermarket one and painted with “guaranteed color match” paint. It doesn’t match that great. I’d take the bottom in any color for now. Can even paint it if I have to.

A bit darker than original color but works for now. Maybe I’ll paint them black if it starts to bother me.

I know you are probably not looking to spend the money but these just popped up on Ebay.

Believe it or not that is not a bad price for Ebay.
My logic is you paint these black instead of yours.
If the slightly off one still bothers you.
Then if the black doesn't work for you either you still have your 3 originals.
And maybe one day find the fourth.

I didn’t get the top trim peice. They messaged back it’s out of stock and discontinued. Back to searching for both trim pieces again. Oh well

That happens from time to time.
Has to me too.
Your looking for something new online, actually find it, get all excited, order it, only to get an email saying you are SOL.
Hate when that happens. LOL.

I need you to verify something for me about the upper sill plate.
In my '00 there are both screws and these clips behind it that go in slots in the body.
I came across something that makes me think they might have changed in '00.
While the Agate color would match I kinda got the impression that a '99 might only
have the screws and not the clips.
Do you know how yours is set up?

Yes. I’ve had this happen before. Recently with a Coleman grill I ordered through amazon. The day it was supposed to ship they cancelled it. Then again on a second attempt. Oh well.

OK.
I ask because I am thinking of trying to get off my ass and go to the other boneyard.
Was thinking Monday cause I don't work my little part time job on Mondays so......
Was thinking of going today but figure it is supposed to really nice, it's Saturday, and I just don't fell like dealing with any crowds that might be there.
Not cause of the covid crap.
Just kinda like when you have the place more to yourself.
Thinking normal people actual work and won't be there on a Monday.
Just did not want to grab a piece that you can't use. Assuming I get there and find one.

Well that’s awesome you are going to look. Like I said, don’t care what color they are as I can paint them to match as close to possible. Where are you located?

I can't be 100% sure but I think these are '97 and up flares.
Thought you might be interested.
Don't know how much this would cost to ship but the asking price seem right.
