Just goofing around. I have a camera mounted on the house. This was one of the "rare" occasions that the Jeep was parked in the driveway. I keep it in the garage usually.

Nice. I want to do something like that also. I'm just lazy
I put a RF modulator on it and fed the output to the cable that runs through the house. Channel 30 on any TV in the house.

My old friend did that a couple years ago. He wired it up and set it on his gutter and also put a LOUD horn next to it. Seeing the pizza guy launch 3 feet in the air and almost drop the pizza was priceless.

I've seen snow, first hand, 4 times in my life. Enjoy what nature has to offer you.

Hmmmm that gets me thinking.....:p
I have a couple of LINUX boxes. On one of them I put in a video capture card and loaded up some free security software, ZoneMinder. I split the video (as stated before) and fed it to the RF modulator.

The long term goal is to put up 4 night vision/color cameras around the house. 2 up front, one on the front door and one for the back yard.

I'll get a 4 channel video distribution system and put each camera on it's own TV channel, and feed it into the cable running through the house.

I'll also feed the cameras into a 4 channel 120 fps card in the LINUX box and run zoneminder on all 4 camera. Zoneminder will record video when it detects motion. It will also e-mail, sound an alarm blah blah blah.

Fun to play with.

I'm still thinking about this one, but I would like to have a movable camera that would track and record objects moving in the sky! UFO!!! lol

Well the 4 port 30 frames per second card came in yesterday. I just ordered an IR camera for the front door. Anyway here is a short video that was triggered by the motion detection software. :D
