I recently completed a brake job on my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.
See Here for a more detailed look ➡ Jeep Cherokee | DIY Brake job | Torque specs
There were a few things that I wanted to throw out there for any new owners that might be trying to do their own brakes.
1.) Brake caliper mounting bolts are a Torque to yield design.
These should be replaced whenever they are removed.
2.) A small Allen Bolt holds the rotor to the hub.
3.) It was difficult to find accurate torque specifications online. Here is what you will need to complete this job:
2015-2022 Jeep Cherokee Brake Part Torque Specs:
Front Caliper mounting bolts - 129 ft/lbs.
Rear Caliper mounting bolts - 89 ft/lbs.
Front and rear Caliper guide pin bolts - 32 ft/lbs.
Lug Bolts - 100 ft/lbs.
