KL Front Skid Plate

My 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited (KL) has a cardboard type front skid plate. I would like to replace with a more robust skid plate. Does anybody know if the Mopar Front Skid Plate P/N 68265140AC is metal? Or can someone suggest an alternative skid plate?

This one is supposed to be steel. However I am not sure how substantial it is
