I'm dying to see this one. One thing i don't understand is why Lesnar is getting a title shot when he's a noob, with a 2-1 record. His past two games were not that great, one decision win and a loss to frank mir. I don't know how UFC ranking/scheduling thing works.

I'm routing for Couture. He's a legend and proves himself every time he gets in the ring.

Lesnar will be a box office and PPV draw. UFC is desperate for some buzz after all the marketing failures lately. Lesnar is big physically impressive guy. He was a failure in the WWE due to his limited marketing potential. He was a failure in the NFL because he didn't have the skills needed. He couldn't wrestle Olympically due to using 'performance enhancing substances'. He is what happens to outstanding amateur wrestlers when they end their careers. He ends up somewhere in-between for everything. Hopefully the UFC thing works out for him.

Randy Couture still carries enough of a name to satisfy the UFC-faithful. He brings a track record of good fights and his public appearances always forward his reputation and marketing well.

It's time for Couture to pass the torch on to somebody else,he has had one of the best careers in MMA and at 45 years young he should throw in the white towel.Lesnar is a beast but I am not sure he is the one to hold that torch but I have been wrong before but I guess we will have to see when he defends his title...

I just don't think lesnar is ready to be a champ. He got beat by the former champ, Mir, and then goes straight to the title fight. Alot of fighters work their as$ off to achieve a shot at the title, but Lesnar gets a free ride. I think it's just to build hype for the UFC.

The thing i actually like about brock is his inexperience. I kinda dislike the direction ufc fighters are going now. It's all about falling down and making out on the floor these days. brock likes to punch and just beat the hell out of you, not wear you down in some sexual-like position.

When Couture and Lesnar walk into the ring, I was like, there's no way Randy's gonna win. Maybe if he can keep those huge fists off him until Lesnar wears down..... And He did good in the first round.... Other than trying to pick up and slam down Lesnar, which didn't work out too well.

In the second round when Lesnar got Randy on the jaw and he went down the ref let the fight go too long, as I saw it. Lesnar pounded and pounded Randy before the fight was finally called....

Yes I was there.....

randy should go down to light heavy weight again
That'll be interesting seeing Griffin and Couture fight. Maybe Rashad Evans and Randy. Good fights there.
