Guys..

I got a beautiful '00 XJ. But the uniframes partially rotted and the driveshaft might not be safe either. I can replace the driveshaft, and I'm gonna reinforce the good parts of the uniframe with frame stiffeners and use thick walled rectangular tube that'll slide inside what's left of the subframe. Also, i'm gonna use a rust treatment like POR15 to make sure it can't rust more. But in your honest opinion, is it worth it? She's only got 128k on her. I see plenty of life left.

I think if you removed the rust and sealed it up it would be fine. It is not that far gone
