Mods/Custom Stuff:
ENGINE Mods: 4.0 L stroked to 4.6 L with 3.895" 4.2L crankshaft and rods. Bored .030 over and new 3.905" pistons, rings, rods were weighed & matched, and with the crank, were spin balanced at a local engine shop. The cylinder head was surface ground 0.005". New intake and exhaust valves installed with new springs, retainers, keepers, and stem seals. A MOPAR Performance (P4529229) cam was installed with new lifters, sprocket and timing chain. MOPAR PERFORMANCE High Volume Oil Pump (P4529243) was installed. We port matched the stock EFI Intake manifold to the cylinder head and installed 24lb/hr injectors with an adjustable fuel regulator. The stock throttle body was bored out about 2mm and a new butterfly installed. A High Performance Engine Control Unit was installed. A high flow water pump was installed to use Evans water-less coolant in a custom built, all aluminum radiator. Tube headers with new O2 sensor and new exhaust system (with new cat) installed to improve breathing.
I powder coated the intake manifold, fuel rail, heat shield, thermostat housing, pulleys, all accessory mounts and brackets, rocker cover, and oil pan.
SUSPENSION: Trail Master 4 inch lift kit, with new polyurethane bushings, (I powder coated the kit and the control arms with Silver Vein textured powder.) Added ACOS spring adjusters to get another 2 inches of lift for a total 6 inch lift. Long travel Trail Master off-road shocks. Added an adjustable axle truss rod with heavy duty skid plate to the Dana 30, Trail Master steering Stabilizer shock with a relocated track bar and sway bar disconnects. Long braided stainless steel brake lines.
Upgraded U-Joints on both front and rear drive shafts. The transfer case cross member was dropped with a 1 inch spacer kit to help with U joint alignments.
Added a axle truss rod with heavy duty skid plate to the rear Dana 35. The stock leaf spring pack has a Trail Master add-a-leaf, 2" block and angle shim. New polyurethane bushings installed in the spring eyes and in the longer shackles. Long travel Trail Master off-road shocks. Braided stainless steel brake line added to keep the brake line in one piece with full droop.
10 x 15" alloy Z Racing wheels with 33-12.5-15 Goodyear Wranglers. ARB "Bull Bar" front bumper with a Warn M8000 winch, off-road lights and marker lights. Large tube Hooker side step rock rails. Bushwacker cut-out pocket fender flares.
