Don’t do it. If I had done anything differently, it would have been just to keep the leafs.

Craig, I can make a suggestion for that. I made a bastard pack out of Isuzu rear leaves. Cut the eyes off the mains and used the whole thing. I turned the bottom leaf upside down. It will lift it from what you have, but rides very well and very flexy and a good match for my 210# front coils

I was honestly considering Chevy 52” springs out of a half ton 2wd. They are only a little heavier spring rate and the axle would be centered on the spring. I would have to make custom mounts for them but I’m not to worried about that.
