Ok , on January 2008 I bought this 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L HO, bc I needed a work suv and a mech project so I can get my inner auto mechanic going. I bought if for 2k, I think is a fair price for the shape it is. Here is a pic when new.

First mod I did was swapping a new starter bc the original one froze and well I needed one. Then I got a lil creative, I did a homemade roof rack and I had a roof mounted spare tire, but many people told me that that could hurt my mpg so I put the spare back in the back. You can see it on the top pic.

Then I got an exhaust job, put in a 2.5”HF catalytic converter and trash the muffler and put a cherry bomb style in. But after 4 month with that I got sick of it, it was too damn loud. So I swap the cherry bomb for a magnaflow turbo muffler.

and the old one

I also change the fuel filter, you can see that on the last exhaust pic,,

Then after some reading I did my airbox mod, here is the link for that. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/showthread.php?t=887

I then got a gift from a friend of mine, a 1” TB spacer, installed,

Also I bed line the bottom quarter panel of the xj, removing all the trimming.

..

I then remove the sides of the bush guard and kept the middle.

Ok now the epic part, I had tranny problems, so I got frustrated and decided to sell the jeep, but my dad convinced me to keep it and fix it, so I took it to my local jeep shop and it turned out to be that the tranny needed a complete rebuild, after that they found out my electrical connections are bad, and that caused the computer to die. So now its all good as new.

Since Its all good now, Ive decide to give it a good tune up, so I made my list witch you can see at this link.. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/showthread.php?t=2987 and well on Thursday I took out the plastic thingy connecting the front fenders below the front bumper and also trim the fenders to bumper height. I also decide to take the front skid plate out and clean it up and paint it.. here are some pics of the finished product…

Ill keep up updating the thread as I go, this will be a slow but steady build. Ill appreciate all the support guys..

ok I have the pics, not of the engine stuff thing bc well we all know how that looks, but of the rear cargo area part..

took the carpet out. BAMM! rust

they I scuff the hell out of it,, and primer the surface. with some rust off paint/primer..

then I got a lil bored while the paint was drying so I took the cargo net of my cobalt and install it on the XJ

and here are the photos of the fixed and primerd holes,

and now some pics of my bedliner work

here is the pic of the finished cargo area

pic of the new fogs (Ill have to add a new front pic bc after taking a few looks to the xj I really like it better without the bar.. so I took it off and install the fogs directly to the bumper)

and the pic of the upper rear quarter panels with the strange color..:dunno:

on the last pic you can see the discoloration better but the first pic it has the problem an all the painted area..:(

Those are decent mudders that work well. Someone over at CF ran them. I forget who though. I think it was that red jeep with two black tubes on the roof rack. but anywayas, i ran their older version about 5 years ago and loved them. They took me everywhere but the sidewalls got all ripped up. Never went flat though.
