Yesterday was opening Day for modern firearms Deer Hunting here and the Hunters were out in force. We went to get the Grandkids to take them to a Birthday Party for their Cousin and on the way to Town 2 deer popped out of the woods. I didn't want to lock the brakes and lose control so I hit brakes and swerved as the first one crossed in front of us. I saw the other one cross behind us in the Rear view mirror. The Kids thought it was great fun!

Same thing happened to me last week, but only one deer. It was pitch black and i was doing 45. It was standing on the road but i couldn't see it till it was a bit too late so i slammed on my brakes and the jeep skidded a little sideways. The deer took off before i could hit it. I learned something though. My brakes actually work

Couple of years back was going to pick up a buddy to go hunting at about 4AM and on the way to his house I passed 21 deer on the sides of the interstate. When I got to his house and I killed the lights so as not to wake his whole family and there were two Does and a Buck standing in his front yard munching his shrubs.

If he has a shot like Dick Cheney then I am gonna guess not but now I am more worried about his buddy lol jk...
