Hey guys, I'm new here. Need some help with some troubleshooting on my XJ. I just bought it and it was running rough, but I assumed something simple.Smells like fuel in the cab really bad while idling. Sent it in to the shop and they told me 2 cylinders were at 50 psi, so I need an engine. Just had the engine replaced with a used one and the thing runs almost exactly the same. Is this some sort of sensor issue? Crank? Map? ??????. It's an 88 btw

Please shoot me some ideas if anyone has had similiar issues. Thanks

X 2 on the MAP Sensor, IAC or possibly TPS. I'm going to assume you've already checked for straight up fuel leaks at the injectors, rail, fuel pressure regulator and along the fuel line.
