I've searched and search. I have tried every possible post or pic I can find. I cannot get my radio wired up to save my life. It's a 1996 Cherokee with the 4.0L auto trans if that helps. Anything will help thank you

does your radio have a label with the wiring pinouts? also did the PO cut the wring harness or is the factory connector still intact?
I don't have original radio and they are cut after looking at it closer I think he connected new wires to the old ones (not same Color) so I have to look down in a little to see what color each wire is.

This will be a pain, but I would contact the manufacturer of the radio and ask them for info on the wiring. If you have to, you can open up the panels and get the color of the speaker wires and then use that color to connect the wires off the stereo. Contact someone like Crutchfield for any wiring info they have
When I get off work going to check fuses and make sure mine are blew and causing radio not to work

Is the radio installed or not? what is the brand and model of the radio? To help eliminate a few wires, the speaker wires are gonna be in pairs; usually 1 with a solid color and the same color with a tracker line. you will have 8 speaker wires, 4 to the front and 4 to the rear. They are polarity specific. So don't get the + and - mixed up. 2 power wires, usually red/red or red/yellow. the red is gonna be battery power all the time, to keep the memory. the 2nd red or yellow is gonna be accessory or key on power. a brown wire which should be for the lights. and a Black wire which is ground. Depending on the radio model you may have a blue for a remote antennae. and misc. others for various addons. Some also have a fuse in the radio connector.
Yessir I got them all connected as they should. Just have to check fuses I'm thinking that's my issue
