I am new here and just wanted to say hi, I have been on the ford truck list for a very long time, but I am new to the jeep thing. Start off my name is Chris and I live in Maryland. I have a 1990 Cherokee with 4.5" of lift adjustable control arms with greasable bushings and track bar, transfer case drop 1", 32x10.5 15 Interco Super Swampers Radials on Black steel rock krawler wheels with 3.75 backspacing chrome center and lug nuts, and extended sway bar links.
I need to replace a fender that had a mishap before I got it the fender was the only thing damaged but I need to do a little fender trimming anyway and was wondering if 97 up fenders fit previous year models since they already have the lower front section missing when I did the replacement it would be less work. Thanks in advanced Chris

the cherokee was completly changed apperance wise in 97', nose doors fenders, rear lid and even the fender lines. Any 97' and up body panel will Not match up to a pre 97' cherokee. (except the hood i belive) I found this out the hard way. But if you DID put on a 97 and up front clip like jabo stated it does look nasty:rock:

Welcome to CT. Now our initiation rites for a former Ford guy says that you must find 8.8 axles w/ disk brakes for those of us that need 'em.

Do now!

:D heh, heh ... kidding. Smart move getting an XJ.
