I was looking at them yesterday.

I wish they would have taken on one of the new Intel procs in the 3+ ghz range.

500-1tb drive would have been nice as well.

Not sure about eh glass screen given I hate glare.

Otherwise, I hope to get one before end of year.

Im running dual operating systems, with OSX and Ubuntu:thumbsup:

Bouncy, the reason they are not using the faster procs is because the OSX operating system isnt as demanding as other operating systems. I have the 2.0ghz dual core in my macbook running leopard and have not even come half way close to maxing the processor. My boddleneck is ram.

My buddy has a Pro macbook 2.0ghz. Trying to process videos from my JVC HD camera yesterday yielded a 8hr process which didn't finish. Taxed the proc to 65-80% and at times crashed the machine. 2 gigs of ram and that proc couldn't handle 30gig of data to be formated to MPEG and DVD.

My workstation at home barely handled it with a 3.0ghz quad core and 4 gigs of ram on Vista32. I managed to process about 15% of the video in 2 hours and hope to finish tonight.

Thus...Give me the 6ghz with 10gigs of ram and 1tb to process videos. The mac Pro workstation I priced out was $15k and probably could do the job easier but I refuse to pay that much for a computer.
