Hi all. I have had a 1995 Jeep Cherokee sport, 2 x 4, for 12 years now. The check engine light never comes on during normal driving. But, when I drive a long distance, after anywhere from 60 to 80 miles, the check engine light comes on. I read other posts here on the forum regarding the CHECK ENGINE light and codes are mentioned. I never see a code unless I don’t know where to look for it. My Jeep is not overheating, my gauges are reading well. How do I fix this?

You can get the codes from flashing dash lights by turning the key on and off a few times
