Occupant restraint control module

Hello all,
I have a 2005 grand Cherokee. Dealer identified restraint control module is bad. Jeep had multiple versions that are discontinued. The one for my car by VIN is part # 56010425AJ which was used till 12/04. Jeep also in that year had part # 04896018AB that was introduced on 11/04. My Jeep was built on 10/04. I was able to locate a good modules but, can both modules be used?
