Under Penn, Paragon is closed.

There is a new park that is opening up though about 2 hours west of where Rausch Creek is, called Rock Run. They started as primarily ATV park, but realized that there was a larger demand for 4x4's as well.

These are some of the main trails in Wisconsin. I know there are a bunch of logging trails as well which can be fun:thumbsup:. But not able to really find websites for those. Some of those can be found near Black River Falls and up near Bayfield, WI. Please try and find all the ones in your state and post them as well.

Here is some of the latest news on the Shasta/REdding area

US Forest Service Opening Portions of Chappie-Shasta OHV Area

REDDING, Calif., April 8, 2009 - The Shasta-Trinity National Forest announced today that it will open portions of Chappie-Shasta Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area on April 11. This is in addition to the opening of Copley Mountain Staging Area in Chappie-Shasta as recently announced by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

The Chappie-Shasta OHV area west of Shasta Dam, is a popular area for off-highway vehicle users and has been closed since last summer because of damage caused by the 22,000-acre Motion Fire. Significant fire recovery efforts in past months by the BLM and Forest Service which manage the OHV area, have made it possible to reopen this area to the public. Local crews, hired with funding provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, completed work on many of the Forest Service trails and roads in the area. Repairs to bridges, culverts and trails will continue in the coming months, allowing additional routes within the OHV area to open.

Areas now opened by the Forest Service include portions of the trail system, the Shasta Campground and the adjacent Chappie-Shasta Staging Area. The staging area has facilities for motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle unloading and provides access to the network of roads and trails within the OHV area.

Kristy Cottini, District Ranger for the Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area, stated that "We are pleased to open a significant portion of the OHV area to the public. Some roads, trails and areas within Chappie-Shasta remain closed because of continued fire rehabilitation work, storm damage and snow covered routes at higher elevations. Routes 2 and 76 are among the routes remaining closed." Officials from the BLM and Forest Service urge riders and drivers to use caution, stay on roads and trails and avoid driving on fire lines or closed routes. Areas remaining closed will be posted.

Access to the OHV area across Shasta Dam will resume on Saturday and is by permit only. Heightened security at Shasta Dam is still in effect. If you had a current permit as of August, 2008, your permit is valid and extended through September, 2009, regardless of the previous expiration date. Permit information is available on the Bureau of Reclamation website at: Northern California Area Office homepage or at the Dam Security Office located at 16349 Shasta Dam Blvd., Shasta Lake, CA 96019, phone: 530-275-1554. Please note that all vehicles and persons traveling on Reclamation property are subject to search when entering, leaving, or at anytime while on Government property.

To reach the Chappie-Shasta Staging Area from Redding, go north on Interstate 5. Take Exit 685 at State Hwy 151/Shasta Dam Blvd. Follow State Hwy 151 west (follow signs to the dam). Continue over the dam to Chappie-Shasta OHV Staging Area.

For more information, contact the Shasta Lake Ranger Station, (530) 275-1587. Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

some places i know but im not sure if its legal anymore. theres a place called copicut somewhere near the new bedford/ dartmouth area. some trails off of a private road that i have yet to find. its not legal as far as i know, but its on a private road, and if you drive real slow until you get to the trail, you wont get in trouble. thats in wareham. and in kingston behind the mall there are some trails. i know a local club had access to it, but again, not sure if its still open. people still go back there. and the cornfields in halifax, ma. lots of people go there and dont get in trouble, but be warned, if you get stuck and dont have any means for extration, you can say bye bye to your rig and all its goodies that youve worked so hard to buy and install.
