I'm surprised you can get a decent SWR out of it then. Unless that is a half wave antenna made for fiberglass vechicles, the antenna must be mounted to metal.

Anyway not trying to pick on you but thought you might be having a problem with your CB that my observation might help fix.

Kyle, is Howler GT from CF, he made my front coil spacers,, so well I had to make something to give him props,, remember he did his by welding some metal tube and all, well I ask him to do some for me too, now he makes them for everyone,, back at CF... he is a vendor now...
