You're doing better than me, when I did my jetta heater core, I had half a dozen left over.

The longer one kind of looks like a CPS bolt to me.
Shot of one of mine out of my '00.
Uses a 11mm socket IIRC.
Don't know about the other one.
Good call sir. That bolt does belong in the cps sensor, I dont remember removing, may have gotten that one by accident when trying to get the top bell housing bolts out. The other bolt was for the clip that holds the O2 sensor wire in place.

On another forum a guy found one lying inside when he removed his inspection plate and got all worried.
Sometimes guys loose them down there when replacing the CPS.
I put in new bolts when I replaced mine and still had the old ones.
I don't throw anything out. LOL.
Took a picture so he could see it to compare.
Reason I had that shot handy. LOL.

And the engine runs! I only ran it briefly though since I dont have any powersteering fluid in the system yet. Waiting on a new reservoir from psc thatll fit under the hood, should be here tomorrow, and tomorrow I'm also getting my tires mounted on the rims finally.

Something has been brought to my attention on another forum.

And I wish I had known about this way earlier. It would have been so much easier to get these on before the block was dropped into the engine bay!

One of my buddies is having issues with sheared mount plate bolts, others have complained of broken plates. These would have gone great with the ironman mounts I have already.

Ermagerd, I finally got to drive my jeep on the road!!!! What a difference the gears make with 35s! This thing will perform much better offroad than before. As you can surmise, I finally got my tires mounted with the coyote beadlocks and all. I used balance beads, but I may have to get them wheel weight balanced.

The engine runs great, I adjusted the fuel pressure down a bit cause it looked like she was running rich before. The wideband showed it running fine, but the plugs and piston heads showed otherwise.

Can't wait to have my gears broke in so I can see what kinda power this thing will lay down now.

Been a minute, but since I've gotten the jeep going, I put it through the ringer. My buddy's dad has a bunch of property, and they also have a mud bog..... I got coerced to go through the mud bog, and go though I did. Im not kidding when I say that I had muddy water flowing into the cab cause it was so damn deep. It was halfway up my door and there were points in time where I thought I was going to get stuck....

It was a fair reminder of why I hate mudding like that, I douched the inside of the jeep, but the interior is still trashed. As soon as I can get my shop working, im going to rip the guts outa the jeep and I have some drastic measures to take to strengthen the hull up on the beast, the floor boards in the rear are practically gone, so they all need redone now.

Aside from that, the jeep runs great still.

Been several months since I've been on, sorry been busy with work and life. The jeep still runs great, have gotten an occasional high idle, thought I had a vacuum leak since I know I've blown out my manifold gasket, im going to get to that eventually, but it's not causing any issues at the moment. Been fighting electrical gremlins lately, I've started another post on that yesterday, but once that's over with, I think it's time to get to body work, ie kicking the rusty rocker panels off and welding in some beefy rock sliders. Also need to trim my fenders since they've gotten pretty beat up.
