They say big things come from humble beginnings or something of the sort.
Anyway, here is my 2001 Jeep xj that was brought back from the dead. Still working on It. Long way to go.
Girlfriend made a little meep out of a mtchbox Cherokee and some Velcro.
So far I have replaced a radiator with a 3 core aluminum one. That leaked super bad. After fighting with the manufacturer for a week I finally got them to send me a new one. Which works fine now. I made sure to inspect it thoroughly.
I painted the headliner now the interior is much more inviting. The overhead light fixture needed love so I bolted it on there. Going to upgrade to lock nuts so it doesn't loosen up after a week.
I did an add-a-leaf to the rear which fixed my sagging leaf springs. I am thinking about upgrading my shackles to give me an extra inch of lift. I have coil spacers ready for install it's just a matter of getting new sway bar links because the old ones are going to break off when I try and loosen the nut that holds them on.
Installed an aftermarket stereo and sub. As an audiofile, the sub adds the bass I need even though I have to turn it way down to keep my entire car from shaking.
Recently fixed a missfire issue with a new coil rail.
Planning to add some insulation to the fuel lines to prevent the infamous boiling fuel in the fuel lines, rail, and injectors.
Also plan on buying old man emus for the new shocks. (Or Bilsteins which ever is cheapest at the time)
My bumpers will be homemade and winchless. This is an everyday driver.
Well that is where I'm at so far. When I do something new it will be posted her. Feel free to leave any comments or concerns.
