The driver's seat in my XJ broke the other day. I might be able to tack weld the bolt head to the bracket for a temporary fix, but I might as well go ahead and plan on replacing the seat.

If this were a 4-door XJ, it would be an easy fix with a trip to the junkyard, but since it's a 2-door I need front folding seats. TJ seats would be cool, but most likely a huge PITA to make them mountable.

So my question is... do seats like Mastercraft, et al. come with the mounting brackets and adapters necessary to mount to your specific vehicle? And what alternatives are there to Mastercraft, and by alternatives I mean CHEAP alternatives. I can't afford $600 for a seat.

TIA.

There are several companies that sell good seats for $150 each. My friend who has a buggy only paid $300 + S&H for his seats. They were full-priced suspension seats, and they're very comfy.

I can't remember the brand, but I know they weren't no-names.
