A suburban Detroit woman has decided to scare up the vote among neighborhood children by just offering treats to John McCain supporters.

Shirley Nagel of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., handed out candy Friday only to those who shared her support for the Republican presidential candidate and his running mate Sarah Palin. Others were turned away empty-handed.

TV station WJBK says a sign outside Nagel's house warned: "No handouts for Obama supporters, liars, tricksters or kids of supporters."

Nagel calls Democrat Barack Obama "scary." When asked about children who were turned away empty-handed and crying, she said: "Oh well. Everybody has a choice."

Fax and phone messages left at numbers for Nagel were not returned.



I can't wait till this woman enters a store owned by a democrat. "Sorry we wont sell to you"

Guess we have found the new race war...If it isn't black, white, red, etc...Now its political. And AGAINST KIDS.

Come on Bouncy, Obama supporters had a Sarah Palin hanging from a rope in california. Now thats deserves outrage. Yet you don't even hear about it on the major networks. If someone had Obama's image hanging from a rope for halloween then the world would come unhinged. It's just some wacky old ladie, I know you can do better than that bouncy.

I love how all the links you give are from extreme left sites and you wonder why you don't see anybody doing anything towords the McCain camp.I know what your response is gonna be "you gave me a link from fox,the most conservative media" there was a poll to all Americans seeing which news media is the most non-biased and Fox clearly won that poll.

To me this is pointless because both parties have done similar things, so its a wash. Im going to close this after all we are on a jeep cherokee forum Go off into the other sections and discuss some things that we all can share an interest in.
