I'm having a problem trying to remove my existing faulty ignition lock. I have operated the release button with the key fully on and I can almost completely remove it until the last point of removal and no further. I have rotated and wiggled it to no avail! Is there some other security device preventing me removing it? I don't want to damage anything. This is on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Classic XJ 4 Litre. It has the Sentry key system with the keys coded to the vehicle's electronics.
