Don't go cheap with your shocks. I put on the new ones that came with my Jeep the previous owner bought. When temps get below freezing they sag and pop when first getting rolling on that cold morning.

Yep! and before you start, pick up a set of Rear shock mount kit USA MADE! You're gonna brake the bolts for the upper mounts and these will save you the headache of trying to fish nuts up there.

I put anti-seize on all of those bolts/nuts to avoid future headaches...... they are in a pretty harsh environment.... just a suggestion.

I am itching to get some good shocks, it is looking like 1000ish bucks to get into something decent.

It is so hard to pick though!!!!

If you are willing to change shock bushings, Monroe Gas Magnum are excellent
