My entire exhaust system is SHOT!!! :brickwall:

After noticing that my exhaust manifold has a major crack around it, (which i'm finding out, this is typical). And my CAT is so loud, i can barely hear my stereo, i've decided to replace EVERYTHING!!!

Someone here turned me on to an awesome manifold. The Cat and the Catback systems are easy finds online... but i haven't found any decent "direct fit/Pre-Cat" exhaust pipes yet.

The manifold that i will be getting is;
Jeep Exhaust Manifold - iNeedParts.com

Any suggestions on the pipe? :dunno:

It is important to get good exhaust in place to get all that "hot air" out.

It has good reviews from the site that the OP posted. The only thing that worries me is that it is reduced in size in 2 spots instead of 1 like the Gibson giving it 2 more weak spots than the Gibson. My question is how hard is it to get them to warranty their product since it comes with a Lifetime warranty as well.

I know that you have already decided which manifold you're going with but I am running a gibson header. Not cheap but definitely quality.
Header Stainless Gibson*GP400S by the Jeep Specialists | Morris 4x4 Center The plus with these is that they also have a lifetime warranty.
Oh Yeah... The Gibson is indeed a nice Header, i especially like the way that the collector is welded together. i'm still just trying to justify the price though. If i was to buy the Gibson, i would probably double the resale value of my XJ, ya know? Because i'm barely working right now, i may have to go through my exhaust in stages... how crappy is that? :dunno:

The only disadvantage (if you even want to call it that) is that the one you posted has a couple more welded areas than the Gibson. The cheaper one does have a lifetime warranty too, so I would have to think that it's pretty well built if they're offering a warranty like that.

There's no way you will ever be able to justify a price difference if it's not in your budget. Less expensive products will hold up just fine as long as a person takes good care of them and they're sometimes better qaulity than the more expensive comparable item. For all we know the one you posted will out live/ out perform the Gibson.

Trying to Locate Exhaust Pipe...

Still trying to locate a decent exhaust pipe... looking for a Stainless Steel pre-bent, "direct fit/drop-in" pipe to go between Manifold collector and CAT. :brickwall:

Any suggestions??? :dunno:

Should i just have a shop bend me one up? If that's my only option, what should i do about the O2 Sensor? :dunno:

I had a shop bend mine up and they drilled and then welded in a bung for the o2 sensor. Have a shop do it for you, It could possibly be cheaper at the same time too!
