I can't find anything used on ebay anymore. WTH happened? It's 97% ebay stores now. I searched for old man emu products and all i get is NEW items from stores, not a single used component. A couple years ago i would do this same search and get at least 12 hits of used old man emu stuff. I could find so many TJ parts for cheap but nowadays your chances are very slim. I guess i'll stick to craiglist.

there has been some boycots the past year bc of this,,, like for example there was a cmplete week where no1 bough nothing at ebay. like a buyer strike... something like that

It is hard to find any name brand stuff on eBay any longer. Most stuff is repop or like Xyzs stuff. Looked for a new charger for my cell and found a hundred but they were all knock offs not name brand stuff.

ebay do to all there fees is having issue, last I heard there laying off all but 12 of the people that work for them to restructure. I do hear Google has a auction house coming on line late this year early next year that will be like the old ebay was...

yeah that is why i have never listed on ebay cost to damn much.
ive bought some stuff but you are totally right on the new knockoff bullcrap

I've had issues finding stuff on ebay too, they used to sell practically everything....you could buy a box of used tissues if you wanted. Now it's hard to find anything.

I still use ebay occasionally and my wife will sell stuff on there everynow and then. I do hate all the ebay stores. All they have to do to bring back ebay is get rid of the Buy it Now and starting prices. Make everything start at .01 cent and you will get rid of all the profiteers and keep the true ebayers.

I got really lucky "back in the day" and won a complete backseat for a TJ for $6. This dude starting bidding with me at .01 and somehow must've forgot and no one came across it so i won. Those seats always go for $200-$300.

Now it's.....Buy It Now $299.99!! bleh..

You know what takes all the fun out of it? When you see a decent price on an item...but then some ridiculous fee for shipping and handling!

When I was shopping for my CB, I found lots that looked to be a good price...until you see that they've tacked on an extra $50-$100 (or sometimes even more) for S+H!

There are still a few good people on there though...but sometimes they can be tough to find.

Kind of defeats the whole point of ebay! If we want to pay top dollar for something we will go to the stores. So much for affordability.
