ok my temp gauge does NOT work, since I got it,, it never has,, ive tried cleaning the connections and nothing,, is my temp sensor bad.. should I replaced it.. or is there an other thing im overlooking...
Could be a sensor but I'd lean more towards a wiring or grounding issue myself.. I know my 91 has a temp sensor at the tstat housing and a sending unit on the rear drivers side of the head so it could also be the sending unit..If memory serves all the sensor on the tstat housing does is regulate when the electric fan comes on and off..The Sender actually sends to the gauge..Now I could be completely wrong about that but that's how I understood it.
