Saw a similar thread to this one over on JF, and it got me to thinking. The idea was to name things that make you happy. I started thinking about how much I complain about negative things in our lives...the economy, the government, finances, work, school, where I live, etc. Some of my concerns are legitimate, some aren't. Point is, whining about them does no good. Sadly, I know it isn't just me who has this problem. Seems like many Americans forget how truly blessed we are and get caught up in what we don't have.

List some of the things you are grateful for in your life. Here are just a few of mine, in no particular order:

- The ability to get a higher education.

- My family. I know I don't express how much I appreciate them enough.

- The fact that I have someone special in my life, who never seems to judge me, no matter how badly I mess up. Someone who always knows how to bring a smile to my day and make me feel good.

- Living in such a beautiful area.

- The fact that I have never had to go hungry, cold, or without shelter.

- The fact that I can see a doctor if I am sick.

- And of course...I am grateful for Kyles Jeep!!! :D

I'm grateful for my lady and the fine Italian dishes she cooks for me. And her perfect rack.

I'm grateful for my famn damily, and the fact that my grandfather's letting me crash in his rental place for free, because my job pays sh!t.

I'm grateful to have grown up on a farm where I learned the value of a day's work, which is a value most people lack these days. And I'm glad I had more to do when I was a kid than play Sega and watch cartoons.

I'm grateful for the fine folks at Red Bull for making such a tasty beverage that allows me to get through my work day without putting my head through the monitor.

I'm actually grateful that I had to go without a lot of things when I was a kid, because it makes me appreciate what little I have now, and gives me a reason to better myself.

I'm grateful for Jeeps and Jeep forums and Jeep people.

Top of the list is my wife, Andrea. After 26 years of marriage we still are soul mates, and life would be nothing without her.

Second is my twin 17 year olds. It has been an "interesting" 17 years to say the least.

BTW, I DO like my Jeep!
