"We need to talk"... that's woman code for "I'm going to talk about everything you do wrong that's been bugging me for no less than 30 days, and you're going to sit there, feel cornered, and apologize even though you had no idea it was bothering me and would have stopped doing it no less than 29 days ago had I approached you then rather than bottling it up inside and stewing over it every second of every day and slowly hating you for it, bringing us to this climactic argument which you have no hopes of winning."

-jeeps suck (friends without jeeps)

I hate small talk and stuff like that. "What's up?" "What's going on?" and it's always said in passing. Why not "Hey" or "Hello." Don't use questions as greetings, cuz maybe I'd actually like to tell you what's up, but you clearly do not care, so boo to you sir. Boo to you.

The phone rings late one night.
You look at the caller id and it says "Private..."
Quickly you go over what the wife told you about the kids, are they out tonight or all at home. That's right they're all at home...
Concerned it may be important you answer the phone... "Hello?"
There is a long pause and just before you hang up you hear an adolescent voice say "Daddy?"
