IIRC they match up no problem.

Yes they will bolt in. I put in an HP 30 from an xj into my TJ. No issues.

^^^^^^That(high pinion/low pinion)and ratio should be the only difference. But I also heard that putting a HP in a 00-01 XJ with no lift you may run into driveshaft -to-exhaust contact problems.

brackets match, but unlimitless is right, i have a buddy that has hd that same problem. a Cherokee with anything greater than 2-3 inches of lift should have no contact problems, however.

XJ's used to have HP Dana 30's in them, so I doubt that there are going to be any clearance issues.
