ok, I kinda like the look of the mud flaps on semi trucks, they are flexible so the flap around and they wont break in mud, like the molded ones will, so what do you think, at least on the rear, how would it look on the xj.. I dont necessarily would mount them on the fender well, a lil more to the rear, where do you thing will be good to mount them, if I do at all

IMHO I have seen them on the XJ and they arent pretty. I wouldnt do it but thats my 2c.

I think some states require flaps if you are lifted a certain height and running certain tires. I remember reading a thread a while back about a guys Jeep that had them and they really look bad....He had them so he could take them off and on

I've got a set of the Jeep ones from a Cherokee or a Comanche.. I hated them... I was glad to get them off of the Jeep...

Mud Flaps should be illegal. Anything that cuts the supply of flying mud is terrible.

Yea I know. But if you read the thread, he runs the flaps to keep from getting tickets and hassled by the police.

yeah but their better ways to install those flaps than that way,,, they stick out to the side way to much... there too wide

They'll be ugly regardless, IMHO. I've seen them installed with quick pins so they can be removed really fast... Stupid laws requiring them.
