As for your steering setup, what sort of money does that kit cost?

Looks like a beefy kit. I have considered OTT for mine too and will give this one some closer scrutiny when the time comes.

Off the cuff though, looks like a decent kit.

I'll have to write those down:thumbsup:

As for the price, it's $549. Which I am willing to pay as long as it is a good reliable kit. I was just concerned about the TRE being that close to the tire, what do you think? I was also considering the JCR 1 Ton OTK Steering also, but iv'e heard that it can have a "dead spot" from the drag link making the tie rod "roll" after a while

Most people run aftermarket wheels so they won't be as close to the tie rod as the picture shoes i bet. This looks like a nice kit. I'm not sure how well designed it is but will check out reviews when they come out.

I like the steering angles with the kit. I'm looking at their sway bar picture and it doesn't seem to be an xj if i'm correct?

The only thing that lures me to that steering product is the lifetime warranty. That would lure in alot of buyers IMO. A company that offers a lifetime on their product shows that the product is pretty darn decent. You wouldn't put out a 1/2 as$ed product and offer a lifetime and then have to replace every single unit you sell because it breaks, would ya? It's too early to tell exactly how this steering system will turn out but it seems to be a well thought out kit. Granted it has a weak leak at the tie rod ends but i'd rather have those as weak links than any other part, heck they are probably the same or beefier than the stock ends.

Wow....this thread got busy since I went to bed yesterday......stupid graveyard shift

But yea, I was going to buy the JCR kit anyways, but then got distracted with the Rocky Road kit  I too have yet to hear anything great about RRO, but on the other hand that's all I hear about JCR, just good products. Plus it' simple and not too bad in price. Thanks everybody for your opinion. It's going to be a little bit longer before I can get the kit but when I do i'll be sure to do a write up.
