Hello all,

My wife and I just inherited her families 1984 Jeep Wagoneer and are stoked to have it but could use some guidance on where to start with the rehab. We live in Florida but her family and the Jeep are in Colorado, which is where we would like to keep it. The main reason we are taking the Jeep is to have a vehicle in Colorado and save ourselves the ridiculous cost of renting a car every time we go out. We are in Colorado at least once a year for two weeks and want to make sure the Jeep is in good working order so we can use it for our snowboarding trips through the mountains. Safety and reliability are priority one for now.

I will have more information on the full condition of the Jeep this week and will post my findings and see if anyone out there has had similar experiences.

Thanks for the help!

I would change ALL fluids and check all the u-joints for play. Check the belts and radiator hoses for cracks and a tune up wouldn't hurt. :) Good luck.
