Never have hit a deer, but years ago when I was just a kid we were coming back home from Canada and hit a moose up on the north side of Lake Superior late at night. Scared the s**t out of most of us as we were asleep.
She was already down on her hind legs when the guy driving hit her. It blasted the ride side corner, and destroyed the two right side doors. Finally a guy stopped and just sat ther until we got going again. He was after the meat!

WTF!!!!! wow thats crazy im surprised there is anything left of the deer or the front of the car!
Some years back I hit a deer with a tandem vacuum truck. I was on my way to a job site 10 hours away and the darn thing jumped in front of me on the highway. I hit it with the right front and it destroyed the fiberglass fender, light, and part of the grill. Cost me 2 days of (paid) down time while they ordered in parts to fix it. At the smelter I was going to they had truck inspections daily and I couldn't operate like that.
That is my one and only deer hit. :thumbsup:

I have never hit a deer(knock on wood)but I've came really close a few times and each time scared the sh!t outta me lol!

I have hit many deer. its never pretty. but never had damage done to truck. Besides the blazer had a small dent from a buck once. I see more does run out than bucks. which is smarter? lol.

I've creamed three in the past year with the Jeep. First one I ran completely over and spit out. Second one I braked hard and hit square on. Knocked it down and chewed it up a bit with the front axle, but it got up and took off. Third one I hit broadside in the ass and sent it twirling like a propellor into some old lady's yard. Had lots of blood and poo on my bumper.

I did this once....to a dog.
Actually it was my ex gf's sister driving and the dog ran out in front of the van. BOOM! I saw the dog spin like no dog spun before through the rear view mirror. I thought it was spinning fast enough to create enough lift and take off. It laid there for a few minutes and then got up and limped away. I felt bad. It was a really hard hit.
