Anyone read the 451 pages of the bailout bill and see the pork hidden in there???

WOW..Just wow.

And 60+% of the country thinks this shouldn't have passed the Senate. Yet it was voted YES by 75% of the Senators. Time to revoke their jobs and put in people that actually voice the PEOPLEs opinion.

Time for line item vetos to be the law of the land and then you can really blame the president for what gets passed and signed into law. Congress will never allow it b/c it keeps them from hiding their pet projects in the nooks and crannies of the various bills which come to the prez's desk for a sig.

Want hard evidence that the government caters to big business more than to the average American? Well, you just got it. I've made a few bad financial decisions, gotten myself it some hot water, defaulted on some bills... where the hell's by financial bailout? I guess I'll wait for that check to come in the mail..........

And this added just to start a little fire for everyone. Top CEOs and their pay check...You might recognize their companies they work for.

Pork hidden in there. I gotta see that post it up...

I am glad they passed the bill I would like to see something done.
I would love to hear you explain WHY you would want the Tax payers...to shell out 700 billion to save companies that ran themselves into the ground.

And while your putting together your answer...Please refer to my link at the bottom of my last post about CEOs.

The problem is they gave the economy a crutch, but filled the bill with pork to help the people keep there houses even if they can't afford it. That's what got us into this in the first place, Were letting the same people that got us into this mess, try to fix it. Go buy seed and a hoe if you want to eat next year. We need to start voting these congress, senate and house members out on there butts, so they can go back to work for fanny mae.

How many of you have 401k's from your employer or old jobs? If even one penny of that is invested in S&P 500 companies, you are directly and indirectly benefitting from this bill.

Work for a company directly or indirectly in the commerical avation industry? You are benefitting from this bill.

Does your employer use finanacing of any kind to support their day to day operations? You are directly benefitting from this bill.

Would you like to buy a house, or refinance your current one? You are directly benefitting from this bill.

Are you a customer of the approximately 6700 banks that the CBO are saying could fail?? You are directly benefitting from this bill.

Yes, there is ALOT of crap in this bill that has no place in it. But we are to a point where something had to be done...

And if you own a Motorsports track(like an off-road park) being able to recover your costs of construction in 7 years rather than the normal period for land improvements is a big important deal.....
