So the guy I live with is convinced that all that is wrong with my xj is a fuel pressure issue. He says I can test my fuel pressure using my voltmeter and I don't need to go out a buy a fuel pressure gauge.

i know i have a friend who has a 89 with the renix
and when it wouldn't start, he'd use a knife to push the schrader valve in and relieve the pressure, and it would usually start
but now he's gonna swap his tired motor and trans out for one from a 94
