Saturday was the start of my final weekend in Moab this trip. I decided to go on another official trail ride and tag along with Jared who was leading Porcupine Rim. Only about eight Jeeps showed up for this trail ride, which I thought was good. However, this trail turned out to be very very bumpy and it took us longer that we had planned to complete the trail. Not to mention that we also missed a turn and passed up the loop we were planning on taking by a few miles. The night before, the temperatures in Moab had dropped pretty significantly and while we were on the trail the wind picked up pretty good and threw a lot of dust into the air. Even with the windy weather and bumpy trail, we had a great day!

Dust hiding the La Sal Mountains

On our way back, we took an alternate loop that is not very well travelled

:) Makes me want to get my heep in proper moab condition.
I think mine is just about ready to go, just I have no one to go with and no money to go. I guess I will wait and see how it does in Colorado next summer before I take it out to Moab
