It started off with a semi soft pedal. Then a intermittent ABS P20 code. The ABS unit was reading variable voltage 3.5v to 4.5v. I replaced the entire ABS pump/ module. The brakes were great for 1 day and back to blah. It's back at the shop for another look.

Does anyone have an idea what the issue is? And worst case scenario has anyone deleted the ABS system?

There are two more basic components to the system: The wheel sensors and a mercury switch that usually sits under the rear folding seats.

If you have a build up of rust on the wheel sprockets, you can have issues. If the wheel sensors have metal shavings built up on their surfaces: you will have problems. Finally, a bad mercury switch(inertia switch) going bad can do so as well. I'd also have a good look at all of the grounding points to the system.

I checked the wheel sprockets they are clean. I just had the one CV replaced recently. I had no idea about the mercury switch. I'll have to find it/ check it out. Thanks.
