I'm parting out my '89 xj laredo 2wd over to a wrecked '93 xj sport 4wd. I've moved the power seats and a few other interior items as well as the chrome bumpers and door handles. The laredo had rear window defrost lines and I discovered teh '93 sport has all the wiring for it and I've already moved the switch in the dash over. Anyone have an idea on how difficult it would be to switch the rear defrost glass over to the '93? Would I be correct to assume I'd have to replace the seal to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Tee

Starting in one of the corners fold the rubber seal lip out, working evenly till the corner has cleared. Then just run your finger around the lip while gently pushing the glass/seal out. This is easier with the hatch in it's up position and pushing the glass skyward. The hatch glass is the easiest to replace in my opinion.
