My add-a-leaf is finally sagging after 4 years, which is way longer than I had hoped it would last. Luckily I was able to source a pair of RE1463 leaf packs to swap out the add-a-leaf for that came with my RE6010M lift kit. I was also able to source some RE2700 1" lift shackles. My hope is that they will soften the ride from the higher spring rate.
For shocks, I went with RXT2621Bs in the front, and RXJ507Bs in the rear. My thinking is that twin tubes in the front will be more compliant while monotubes in the rear will maintain stability. There was barely any info at on the RXT2621Bs, but the feedback I did find said that they are very stiff. If that turns out to be the case I am looking at the Skyjacker Black MAX twin tubes to replace them with.
There wasn't much info on leaf spring tuning or shocks for cherokees. So I'm curious to know what you guys think. Has anyone here had any experience with these shocks? Or the longer shackles with these leaf springs?
