Back to square one. On my '03 grand Cherokee 4.0l the fan worked fine for 3 days. Now it's no fan at all and radiator over heating again.
Luckily I had attached a set of 12vdc jump wires to the fan power connector just outside of the shroud, and on the other end having alligator clips I could connect to the battery. I'm temporarily going to run a switch inside below heater controls to manually turn fan on or off until i tackle the fault relay issue.
I've read three different locations for where this relay might be . . .
1) behind right headlight
2) on firewall next to radiator coolant tank
3) next to under hood fuse box is a relay box
Which is correct, or all three . . . ?
thanks pclaptop
